Why do we do it?
The 2019-2020 School Year has been in full swing for only almost a month and yet it feels like so much has already happened!
Cristi Cantu kicked off the school year bright and early on Meet the Teacher day by welcoming back Teachers with a beautiful breakfast.
Bridget Montag and Terri Tamulevich welcomed back the students with delicious Ice-pops after seeing their classrooms.
On Back to School Night both Bridget and Terri had apples and water available for Parents to snack on while seeing their children’s classrooms after a long day.
We celebrated the beginning of Fall with a fantastic festival that Kelly Cole had been working on for months. The Festival may have only lasted two hours but for many of the families that attended, Kelly gave them a lifetime of great memories. I know one little boy in particular who was so happy to win a prize, I’m sure he went to bed that night with a smile on his face. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make it such a great event! We couldn’t have done it without you!
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Moe’s Fundraiser! There was a lots of school spirit and it was a fun event! Thank you to Moe’s too!
Jolene Tracy worked hard on creating new Sliney Wear to show your school Spirit! Orders must be placed by October 10th – don’t miss out!
Get ready for the Fall Fun Run on October 19th! Runners from all over the school will have an exciting day with their peers exercising and honestly just having fun – Register now!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you need any additional information. If you haven’t done so already please Join the PTA and support us in supporting our school community. Our work connects Parents and Teachers. Our work gets us engaged in what our children are doing. We are the John B. Sliney community! As our Principal Dr. Clark says: “Together we can do so much!”
